Suicide
You can avoid mistakes but you can’t learn from them unless you make them worth your time. Release the fire in your soul if it’s worth your life. You can attach yourself to nothing if that’s all you find. Die a lucky man if you have one friend by your side. Take on the night and find your faith in the darkest hour. Turn the volume down on the voices in your head that call you a coward. Let the wind carry you through the storm to the shower. Pour your quiet memories on me like the sun doesn’t shine. Because in time, I’ll be just fine. The choices that I make are mine to define, I’ll be just fine. I can feel your pain as clear as day. Wash away the dirt that has paved your way. Here to grow with broken bones and suicide. Where am I? I’ll be just fine. Live for the lives that missed their chance to be your guide. Pass them by. Who am I? Catch yourself living In the lies of the people that buried you, they are nothing new. Shovel through the grass and find your creator. Save your thunder and your lightning for the side thats greener. I’ll be just fine, leave me behind. You can be something more than this world has to offer. Give it to yourself through the hills that made you smarter. Face life’s mountain with pride and will to take you farther. But who am I? Work harder.
I’m a queen without a crown and a prisoner without a guard. Healed my wounds and left my scars. The things that I miss are amongst the stars. Im an owl who has come to watch over the night. Shredded to pieces mixed and blended, wasted and left behind in this fight. I’ll be just fine. I can see both sides from the hole inside. I’ve stepped into the cold and froze my mind. I’ve seen that im not blind with a heart that’s still beating suicide. Ill be just fine. Cried every tear Ive had to offer and touched every feeling Ive never felt. Held the hand of every joker I’ve been dealt. So I’ll be fine.
When you reach your kingdom and touch the sky, give love a try. I wouldn’t mind. I’ll be just fine. And when you revisit yesterday, take off your crown and leave me behind. When you find your heart,
When you find your start,
When you win the battle
And give up the war
Leave me behind
Take your life and take it fast
The rain will come and it will pass
And when you look back you will see my face and know my place. Reflected and reminded of the time I left you behind. I’ll be just fine. Suicide.
